The smallest of the breaches, my guess over the payments on the secondary players list.

I can't remember the last time the squad was worthy of a fine. How we are anywhere near cap is beyond me.

So basically we didn't breach the $4.3m cap, we breached the second tier $350k cap.

I reckon we should be docked the $4.7k from that cap amount for next season (ie, only be allowed to spend $345.3k). That way the teams who do the right thing don't suffer.

Steve Sharp drank a Coke Zero in the board room and didn't use a coaster.

From the reports on the Raiders they breached the cap because Papali and Sam Williams played more first grade than expected. The Raiders just scraped into the 8 and were one of the in form teams going into the finals. If all you're going to get is a $150k fine for breaching the cap I say it's a pretty minimal fine if you still make the Top 8.

maybe the heading of this article was a typo, maybe it was Eels breach the Crap in 2012???? But if thatwas true the fine would be far more than 4.7k, and would be scary think what fine we cop for this season
