EELS HEAD BACK TO WORK
November 12, 2005

The Parramatta Eels 2005 NRL Telstra Premiership squad will return to full-time training this coming Monday (15 November) at Parramatta Stadium (O’Connell St, Parramatta.)

The group session will commence at 10am, and be completed at approx 11:40am. Players will then train on an individual basis.

Head Coach Brian Smith and players Glenn Morrison, Mark Riddell and PJ Marsh will be available for interviews at approx 11:40am.

---------

Is anyone going to watch the boys train or take Pictures of them??

I'm not sure its an open session. The article makes mention of the media being invited but doesn't really mention the general public.

Head Coach Brian Smith......at the fisrt official training session???

well thats certainly official enough for me.....good old Brian will definitely be sticking around for another season (at least) (don't worry, was still hoping for a late change even though i have been resigned to the fact that he would be staying for some time)

and regardless of my views on the matter i just hope we can turn things around....the recruits we have for next season don't guarrantee it, but they sure should go a long way to making it a reality IMHO

Fingers crossed that Smithy can re-discover his 2001 magic either that or resign as against re-sign ;-)

Lets hope all the players have a strong injury free pre season. And also that players like Afasamaga, B Smith, Anderson, Mateo and Moimoi, who got a taste of first grade last season, really put their hand up and work hard for a full time position. These kids have alot to offer, and there is room for all of them in the top 17.

I'd like that everyone even Hindy, Tahu, Morro, Pig and Caylo have to work their arse off for a possy in the side.
