On purpose! Was it a coincidence that Cronin retired shortly after? I think not. Artie ruined the club! You would have dropped every pass from him.

Well, it did take the Crow another 6 years to retire. Things were done at a slower pace back in the day. Besides, his sight wasn't all that good after the training session of '86.On purpose! Was it a coincidence that Cronin retired shortly after? I think not. Artie ruined the club!
Lol for some reason I was thinking it was 84 (where the f**k would I get that from?)Well, it did take the Crow another 6 years to retire. Things were done at a slower pace back in the day. Besides, his sight wasn't all that good after the training session of '86.

So it was just the opposite, Artie propelled us to greatness! f**k Artie for leaving
The only way we will ever get something close to a balanced comp is if everyone plays each other twice and there are standalone origin weeks. This bullshit about the comp not being balanced when origin stars are out. How is it balanced when they are in? Do the press whine when a team with no origin stars gets gets beaten by a team with 5 origin players in it? TPA's, travel, injuries, unbalanced draw, referee f**k ups...... Don't talk to me about it being a balaced comp every other week of the year Toovey ya goose.

Now we know that won't happen due to TV commitments.
This still doesn't solve for the fact some teams still have 6-10 origin/international standard players yet some team have zero.
If there was no salary cap id say that would be fair game. As we have a cap in place that's where the NRL, so called journos and experts should do some investigation first...the results may be too alarming
You're thinking @I'm a loser baby...I hate that guy

Galuvao won another premiership in 2011.Didn't Joe Galuvao retire after us? Either way he amounted to nought afterwards... Maybe Panthers shouldn't have gotten rid of him in the first place
To be honest, I dont even class Gallen as being let go - ffs he played SG Ball for us and that was it. I would say at least the players that made it as far as NYC or Wenty were the ones we really "let go" - Tupou, Maloney and Yow Yee.10 in 20 years. Jamie Lyon wasn't 'let go' but Gallen certainly was. As far as the rest are concerned, were they cheap?
