The experience and confidence young pleyers like Jack Afamasaga and Brett Andetson will gain from being involved in a final series will far outweigh thenm sticking around in firsts for a few more weeks.

I haven't seen the team yet but hope that Smith has dropped Weller Hauraki, Tim & Ben Smith and possibly Reddy as well. That Flegg side will have a chance of going all the way.

The pl side will be strengthened over the next few weeks if some of our injured players return.

Playing the young blokes in sides that are getting beaten every week doesn't help there confidence, they have had a taste of the top side, let them go back win some games and start next yera full of confidence.

And for christs sake stop whinging about everything that Smith does.

I think you have it wrong JTS. Smith has put him back into a combination that has every chance of winning the Flegg competition. Long term the experience will be of benefit as opposed to getting his arse flogged every week in firsts. Honestly - if we were a chance at making the finals he would be getting good experience. Pick which you'd rather - fighting to keep us away from the wooden spoon or playing in a winning grand final squad?

I'm just guessing this has something to do with elegibility for the lower grades finals? There really isn't much left to play for in first grade so it's probably best for the younger guys to get some finals football under their belts in the lower grades and then rip into first grade training later on in the year. I'm not too fussed about it really.

The team is the best we are able to field seeing as we have key players in Cayless, Grothe and etc out. I like Dykes at 5/8 and Witt at Half but we will just have to see how they play in the day. I was praying for Dykes return becuase our game has suffered big time. No more two lock strategy. Jack has bbeen dropped as his form hasnt been to hot same with the others dropped. Will Peek be with us next year. Why he is on the team is beyong me. I like Webster most of his career has been played as an impacts role. So he will fire. Cordoba is back from injury as well so its coming all togther atg the end of the seaosn.
