Yeah too early to tell, we look much better than he knights, much fitter than the Knights and much more Organised than the knights

Is it possible we just have better reserve graders than the Knights?

Since both clubs are restricted by the salary cap, it means if our top side is weaker then we must have better depth. Wenty were very strong last year and they doubtless will be again in 2013.

Just spoke to someoe who was there, apparewntly no one from the Knighta top 30 played, normally we are crap in the trials anyway.

Don't we alternate every year? We were crap last year, good in 2011, crap in 2010. How'd we go in the 2009 trials?

Ken Edwards , MOM, Taniella and Taulima too big and strong. Brayden Williame went OK, as did Nathan Smith. Overall a hit out and a good win.

Said don't get too excited but they moved well and finished some good plays and looked very fit and bigger than last year

Recruited pretty well have we? Have any of our existing players bulked up? Lasalo is listed as 110kg on the official site. Has O'Hanlon gained any weight? How big are Edwards and Ma'afu?

Result aside there was some good individual performances from blokes I was keen to keep a close eye on... Edwards will be handy and I thought outshone maitua Brayden Williame is another bloke who could develop into something if nurtured correctly... I was impressed with both boys weren't fussed about the rest

Knights fielded a team of fringe NSW cup players so I wouldn't get too excited. From the teams that took the field, the eels team boasted almost 300 1st grade games between them, the knights team had not one bloke who's played 1st grade

I'm not excited at all, just pleased at no injuries and the form of a couple of our recruits and the scored should of been 60..

We are not too excited about the result, but if you are counting the first grade games played by Lassalo and Tautai as part of the total, we dont.

Too early to form an opinion , but always good to win something, too many preseasons have been horrible for us

What about the Matt Utai brothers?

And you're right, we have very good depth.

I saw a guy do that in cricket whites once, just before he was due in to bat.

Luckily he had some spare grundies with him, but after he put it all down to having a recurring case of diarrhoea (and not just a fear of the opposition bowlers) the teammates were hesitant to lend him any of their whites.

You "saw a guy" do it? Come on Phantom, you can admit it was you. We are all friends on here.
