Ch 9 have just announced that El-Masri has been ruled out for the remainder of 2005...

What an impact that will have on the Doggies chances of winning the tight ones...

Just quietly - YEE HAA!

Just heard on ten news that El Masri will be out for atleast 2 months due to the injury he sustained against the Broncos while playing at fullback.

Three doggie fullbacks injured in as many weeks. Patten, Cutler and El Masri.

What do people think this will do to the doggies title hopes?

IMO he is a huge loss! 4 won't become 6 nearly as often.

I don't want those Bronco bastards to win it.

That is quite a serious injury he was named in thier team for this weekend which usually means the injury isn't that bad.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnn!

As many injuries as we've had this year...at least we've been able to cover for them...but this is a VICIOUS double blow to lose El Magic thru the run-in to the finals! :(

REALLY hard to replace his influence, experience, workrate and of course - goalkicking - all in one hit! :S

Folkes has named players that have had NO chance of actually playing in that match, previously this year though...most recently - Cam Phelps.

He's joined the 'gameplayas' of the NRL coachig ranks in 2005 in a BIG way!

Yep.

Shifty can kick - and still keeps his hand in at training...Lolesi can kick..but NEITHER of them are El Masri's!
:(

Bring up Nathan Armit from PL I say - IF we can afford it under the 2nd tier cap by now - that kid NAILS them from all over the park!

Other option is Luke Young - PL fullback - in to replace Haz....He's got a mean boot on him too!

Latter is the more likely, unless Phelps or Tonga can make it back this week (as is the buzz going round the traps!) - and we can re-shuffle our backline...YET again!

I HONESTLY don't know that we've been ABLE to name the same 17 2 weeks in a row this season...CERTAINLY no more than 2 in a row! :S

Dogs = Gone, he means so much to that team. People will start to see how good he really is now that he won't be there. How long has it been since Hazem's missed a game?
