I have been watching this kid closely this year and have been stunned by the progress he has made since i first saw him in the Academy, he has been just about the best of the younger brigade coming through.
He has the ideal physique for a back rower and has plenty of pace but it is his off loading ability which has been a pleasant surprise.
His defence is excellent and i think if he can add another five or six kilos to his frame over the next couple of seasons without losing any of his mobility, the sky could be the limit.

I can see him attracting NRL interest over the next couple of years if he continues to develop at his present rate.

He seems to have kicked on this season which is great to see, sometimes it can take players a couple of years after their debut. Also like the look of Donaldson, who is very young, and Mossop and Farrell at Wigan too.

There are some really high quality kids coming through at the minute, it's great to see. We've long had a top-notch pack but struggled elswhere, now we've finally got some talented halves and there are a few full backs and wingers starting to emerge. But we still can't find anyone to wear 3 or 4.

It looked awful, didn't it?

I did my achiles when I was younger and that was bad enough, but to have your knee blow out like that must be awful. Luckily, these days it seems to be becoming a more routine operation and recovery. Even just ten years ago it was curtains.
