Yeah, the GF will be an intense enough game without playing an unneeded (as far as said players are concerned) game after maybe 36 weeks of non stop football. Give them a bit of rest and in any case it will probably do the Irish more good to play a weakened team than getting smashed by the full team.

i've had a look on expedia and i can get a friday morning flight from manchester to toulouse via amsterdam,take off @ 6am landing at 11am,a couple of nights (fri & sat) in a decent city centre hotel for £305..
