super league....no cos all that will happen is team would be flooded with crap aussies...

the welsh,scots & irish would be better served by having teams in the championship & league1 where they'll be able to properly develop there own home grown talent....and in time these players would progress to super league clubs

Fair enough. Whatever happens I hope the game builds a bit of momentum with the new TV deal over there anyway - from what I hear it's almost double what the union club comp gets, so that should help with development, even if it's just in England.

nah its not double....ESL v the union premiership is about the same except ours is 5 years and theres 4 iirc

all in....ESL,championship,league1,challange cup & internationals is about £200m over 5 years

with newcastle's st james park hosting the magic weekend in 2015 i think we should seriously consider taking one of the england v NZ tests there..

no..they've been plodding on in our league,championship1,infact the beat us a couple of week ago...

they've just been bought by the newcastle falcons RU team who play in the top union league in this country,theres gonna be a union & league double header this weekend at newcastle falcons stadium...it'll probably see gateshead double or triple their average gate...i think the long term plan is to change their name to newcastle falcons RL too...
