English club takes on Ukrainian Players

English club, Milford Marlins from the National Conference League Division One has taken on 8 Ukraine Internationals from the Legion XIII club until the end of the 2018 season.

The players are:

Oleksandr Kozak
Sergiy Kravchenko
Bohgan Vepryk
Oleksandr Syvokoz
Yevgen Trusov
Oleksandr Shcherbyna
Oleksandr Skorbach
Mykhailo Troian

God damn I wish more Aus clubs were proactive. I know some country clubs are but is it too much to ask the NRL clubs to have a little forward thinking.

Me too. Ukraine aren’t in the EU so their citizens can’t just walk in. I’d like to know how this has bee arranged. Eight also seems an unusually large number. It’s normally two or three players tops. Just had a quick look around and I can’t find any mention of this anywhere. Can the OP provide a link please?

That was my question with regards to the visa. I did a quick search online and saw Ukrainian players mentioned but I would have thought the local rag would have had a proper article on it.

There’s a mention on the Milford twitter account confirming the OP but I can’t find much else

Strangely there’s no mention of it in the promotional blurb they put out for RLW on the forum the publisher runs. Yet there is a picture of several RLW pages with what I assume is one of the Ukrainian players in a Milford kit.

I’m not doubting you LXIII. I just find the lack of information baffling.
