I honestly think all the effort was more embarrassing than anything else. Different papers cover different things to different degrees which depends on a number of factors.

They can cover what they want. If they don't want to cover it and it doesn't fit into whatever strategy they have, another paper will pick it up if it can make them money. At least there are newspapers aplenty not to mention the internet.

Look at Sky Sports News. 90% of their output is soccer. Pisses me off and it's not accurate but it's what makes them money.

Haha the fight isn't over for them. They need stuff in their papers as well as regular match previews etc.


He is also very worried about their state of the game and he is pushing for more exposure so they can attract higher paying sponsors.
