Off the field, the guy is actually ok.

On the field, he is a grub who every other teams supporter wants to see get belted.

He is the biggest wanker going around. His form this year has been utterly sh*t. He is only there because of his combo with kimmorley. If pearce was in the aide he would not be there.

Joe's Magpies; He's the 2nd best hooker in the comp!! The best is injured and wears maroon, so who would they pick over him? Farah? LOLZ!! As a QLDer I say, please NSW pick Farah Game 2!!!!

Off the field Ennis is a great guy, shame on the field he's that player EVERYONE hates! I even hated him when he was playing for Broncos!

That said, I remember after THAT heart-wrenching loss to Storm in 08, Ennis came back out and did a lap of Suncorp clapping the crowd. That was his last game and even as a hater, I thought it was very good of him.

What have you been sniffing. The second best hooker, I don't think so. If he was so good why are the bulldogs struggling so far. They would be near the leaders and not on the same points as cronulla.

Based on form this year he is not even in the top five hookers. Ahead of him are smith, farah, Luke, ballin and Kingston.

Maybe because the entire bulldogs squad is not playing too well thanks to the heaviest injury toll since 2005? How about the fact that he has NOT played every game this year? Yeah, let's select Farah, captain of a 50-10 losing team 1 day out from selection. Deadset give yourself an uppercut and wake up to reality.

Let's use the injury toll excuse bulldogs force. besides ennis has only missed one game through suspension. He has played in most of the games. Not counting the game last week farah has been in better form.

Maybe you should give yourself an uppercut.

Yeah I saw that interview. It was basically set up for him to unleash on yawnion, but he didn't bother, instead choosing to praise Tahu and just get on with it.

Anyone who thinks he's not the best option for NSW is kidding themselves.

Ennis has not been his best this year. He is trying to play like Can Smith which he clearly is not and is not capable of.

Even so he is still playing better footy that Farah.

ATM when you look at the pecking order for hookers it would look something like this:

1. Cam Smith
2. Michael Ennis
3. Nathan Friend
4. Isaac Luke
5. Robbie Farah

That's quite laughable, someone galloping into the Bulldogs forum and stating a Bulldogs player is crap because his team isn't at the top of their game.

FTR, Ennis has been giving his guts every week and is probably amongst our best.

You're having a dig at my team just because we're on the same amount of points as the Sharks (with 1 game in hand mind you) - so you're bringing this on yourself.

Worst injury runs since 05?

For real? Name me some decent players who've spent extended periods of time on the sidelines. Hannant is the only one and Josh Morris (but he's hardly been out and is an outside back anyway)

Edit: Morris has missed 1 game and Hannant has played all by 2. Hodgson is the only player of real note who's missed more than 3 games. Mickey Paea is line ball.

I'm not debating Ennis being selected for NSW, but how he can be considered amongst the top 5 hookers in the comp is just a joke. What does he offer aside from decent service from dummy half and a good tempo.

Attacking prowess: Hardly a threat in attack, only had one game which has shown any results and that was against my team.

Defence: One of the worst in the comp for his position, I don't know how a man who can make over 6 ineffective tackles a game and tackle at 75% efficiency have this swept under the cover so easily.

If not for Kimmorley's excellent organising and structure of the Doggies' forward pack, Ennis would not be in contention for country origin, let alone NSW.

 now we have a Tigers fan bagging Ennis.

Dude, piss off to your own forum if you want to belt our players around.

Friend and Luke have been all over Ennis this year. Those 2 along with Smith have been leagues ahead of any other hooker this year.

Why do you want me to name decent players? The Bulldogs don't rely on their top players for results... we play like a team. We have not had a full-strength side for some time now. You also forgot Roberts in your list - he has been out injured for a while, as has Hannant. We have had a big injury list, and that effects the depth of our side too. Watch the game tonight against the Panthers - you'll notice that we won't lack direction, BUT, we will lack the go-forward that Ennis provides.

Another quality Ennis lacks, is that he never gives up, even if the team is down by 20 with 5 to go. He'll continue trying hard and has been among one of our best all year. Last week was a prime example of why Farah should not be selected for NSW - when the Tigers were out of the race, he (along with the whole team) threw their arms up and couldn't care anymore. As the captain, Farah should've tried to rally his troops together to regroup. He didn't even do that.

Another telling tale is last year - Farah plays 2 origin games, NSW lose both origin games. Ennis plays 1 origin game, NSW win that origin game.

Personally, I would prefer having Farah in the NSW team though, as I don't want Ennis to miss club games... but what can you do!
