While transporting the only Dragon Egg not under control of King Galbatorix when the shape Durza and some Urgals ambushed them. With her final action the elf Arya tried to send the egg to Brom a former Dragon Rider whose dragon was killed. Her spell does not work fully and the egg appears to his son Eragon. Later the egg hatches for him and he looks after the young dragon.
Galbatorix wanted his egg back and not aware it has hatched finds out where the egg was sent and sends the Ra'Zac to recover the egg to he town of Carvahall. They find out from Sloan the butcher that Eragon had the egg and head out his farm where he lives with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran.
Only Garrow is there when the Ra'Zac arrive and attack Garrow as he gave them no info as he is not aware of Eragon's dragon.
Garrow is dead he was Garrow, Carvahall aligned Uncle of Eragon.
Eragon returns to find his Unlce dead and his home destroyed and the fight to save his dragon Saphira and the town of Carvahall begins.
The game is set with only characters before the arrival of Eragon at the Varden.
No role Claiming.
