Eric is 100% fit and cured, however will not play again this year. The club have told him to get it right for 2005.

Probably a good move.

Lyon, I think you need to watch Grothe Jnr play. He was easily our best back until he got injured, then McKinnon came in there-abouts, if I remember right.

Very disapointing he only managed about 10 games this year he did score 7 tries in those games though

No-one is likely to ever be a patch on his father - it's unfair to expect it of Jnr more than any other player.

I don't think Grothe Jnr is on a heaps big contract, and so has (and will) prove to be better value than, say... Dykes.

His unlikely to be on over 100000 a year. He came from gthe roosters wanting a regular first grade spot. He is a devasting winger and why you would say his a waste of money is beyong me. Noone will ever be like his father and as muhc as we hope so Jr Grothe plays a similar game but not the same.

Resting him is the only plausible reason for Ash Graham to be still be in FG if Guru is 100% fit.
