Just my two bobs worth.
I think its very difficult to gauge just where we are at after that game against the Warriors, you gotta admit they were deadset woeful.
Played like 16 year olds that, when they realized the game was gone, tried to put on the tough guy act, and it just made it even worse for them.
When the opposition are poor in defence it will always make an attack look good. At times it looked like they werent trying. Now I dont wanna take anything away from our boys performance, but theres something seriously wrong with that team...anyway enuff of them, thats their prob!
In saying that, I think one area that the opposition had very little impact on if any was our error rate.
This has gradually been improving over recent weeks. The frustration of simple errors and then the realization of say for example the Penrith game where, when its all over and 2 points seperate the teams, and you think a held pass here or there instead of a dropped ball or knock on is the difference.......slowly were getting silly errors to a minimum.....it'll never be perfect, all teams make mistakes, as humans tend to do, but a constant thing I hear from "experts" and I think theyre right is if you cut out the errors, your halfway to winning the game.
I was stunned at half time, absolutelty stunned.....near perfect, faultless footy for 40 mins. Brilliant stuff......not razzle dazzle, 14 sets of hands trys, just methodical mistake free footy.
Well done to all 17 guys and Tim & Royce.
