So it looks like we won't be getting Hull v Warrington on the same day like we did with the Warrington/Leeds game. What a bummer, that Hull FC game has a lot riding on it and should be a beauty.

cheers for the info Jed. SL is so hard to follow on Fox, I never seem to know when the games are on...

It's a little late for this season, perhaps next season this might be stickied?

I have the times of all games being broadcast until the end of October. I'll wait until the order of games being broadcast for the last round is confirmed before posting, and the teams for the finals are named.

Can do Jed. Just post a new thread with the finals telecast times when confirmed, PM me or Hightown Tiger to let us know it's there, and we can sticky it.

* Or, I'll just sticky this one and you can keep re-editing the first post ;-)*

Hull v Warrington should be a cracker. Both sides with home ground advantage to play for in the next week.

That's a great replay timeslot for fans in Oz, the 5pm Saturday one. Kudos to whoever is responsible at Foxtel, even if it took Joey's six week cameo to do it!

Lol we're half way there

I've been hounding one of the Foxtel head honchos for a Rugby League channel... with more coverage of the ESL, there could be more of a demand

As you'd no doubt realise, there's a large number of Aussies that seem to be of the opinion that the ESL is where old players go to get a quick paycheck to retire on, and while that may have been partly true 5-10 years ago, it's simply not the case anymore, with more and more players heading over there in the prime of their career.

Hopefully with the increased exposure that the Johns stint at Wires is giving the ESL, I can only hope more people tune in to the games, see that Superleague games are actually worth watching and supporting.

I think it'll also encourage juniors into the game. With kids seeing the brilliance of Andrew Johns, they maybe more enclined to join the game to aspire to something of his level. Which would be awesome considering the ESL is behind Soccer and Union

Coming from a purely Aussie perspective, we were discussing in the office today about the number of people that have been talking to us, asking when the next time Joey was going to be on, wondering when the next replay would be. It's definitely raised the profile of Superleague.

Another benefit is that when the Tri-Nations is on, people will hopefully know more of the GB players than simply Adrian Morley.

Definitley i've never had so many people call me wanting to talk about SL, plus there is more people calling the Hollywood & Zorba show and Talking Sport re:SL.
Even the betting agencies are carrying a better coverage

That surprises me - my money's on St Helens vs Bradford in the final, with the Wolves as a dark horse.

Wow. I guess Leeds are that short because people think they'll come good and have to beat a disrupted Saints team to be sure of being in the Grand Final?

And might get some juicy odds for Hull to pull an upset this weekend, based on their price to win the comp...

Now that Warrington are out I wonder if we'll still get "live" or same day telecasts of the playoffs.

This weekend's games won't be :( but the week 3 Elimination Final and Grand Final will be.

But of course, I'm not allowed to tell you that for a few days yet ;-)
