Article in todays Leader, I can't cut & paste so here are some highlights.
Since returning from his coaching duties in England recently, ET has supported Raper's move back to the Sharks and his appointment as Anderson's successor.
"Stuart has served his time and deserves the frist-grade job"
"He's got great communications skills and a knack for coaching as he proved here and in England. I've told him I will help out any way he can use me."
Raper says, "I have a passion for this place, and ET is one of the Shire's biggest personalities and a home grown product. We've been on the phone constantly. Et is keen to get involved again where he can with the football side of things and I'll be taking him up on it.
Steve Rogers says he too has told Raper he would help out where he can. "Obviously I have a bit of work to do within the club but I've told Stuart he has my help any time he needs it."
It then goes on to mention some loser from the Dragins, Michael McDonald who worked with Raper at Castleford.
Raper finishes up with "We'll develop a style to suit these players and the team."
