I think Ponga is gone anyway...

Knights have no forwards as well so Brown can't do shit if your not on the front foot.

I can't see Brown at halfback (or any position really) being a good return on investment for the Knights. A contract like that builds too much expectation, among teammates as much as fans, and given Brown's form since squeezy-gate it will only lead to disappointment.
