Well Rick was a big influence on Pre black album Metallica so here's hoping..

On a side note they have released tour dates for Japan and South Korea so hopefully Australian dates will be announced soon.

Its awesome news, would have been better if it was flemming rasmussen, though he is busy producing the next megadeth opus. We gonna have two awesome albums released soon, cant wait!

Makes no difference, they will sound virtually the same as todays pop markets want it.

Even producers get with the times.

Im sure Metallica with the power they have dictate also the style they want, im sure they wouldn't let a little pony-tail, gold earning wearer tell them how to make music....they may ask for assistance but the bottom line is they make the music and they'll want to imprint their style for most on their albums not the producers.
