On TV it looked a good crowd but I was still surprised that the official attendance was 19,654. That is an excellent result considering how we've been travelling this year. Am guessing there were quite a lot of Tigers fans.

Good crowd. A lot of empty seats for a "sellout" though. A few mates rocked up without buying a ticket and were turned away, but there were at least a dozen free GA seats directly around us in the North stand

There were plenty of season ticket holders who have barely turned up this year on my end of the Thornett stand and they were missing last night too......

This. I know a lot of members can't make it but that is the problem with Friday nights - a lot of people can't make it in time from work in the traffic. In saying that, I think the fact it was school holidays helped.

LOL poor Korny, he gets so nervous and worked up pre game it's a wonder he remembers to even dress at all. :lol:

Yep, great crowd, that's why we're such a strong club. A remember back in the early 90's when we were getting lapped every week, the fans still turned up and we averaged over 10,000 to home games. Look at other clubs, they lose a couple in a row and there's empty seats everywhere. Always proud to be an Eel.
