Some very exciting players for next year and for me future internationals will be Alex Walmsley and Ben Currie.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing a certain youngster next year ?

Andre Savelio, Elliott Minchella, John Ford off the top of my head. I'll probably add a few more later/when the SL squads are announced, too distracted by the WC right now TBH.

Currie is already an international and Walmsley would be too barring injury.

Not for next year because he is only 16 but i saw a quality young halfback for St Helens v Penrith yesterday, Danny Richardson. They signed him from Widnes, remember the name.
scored two great tries against a strong Panthers team.

Is their academy touring or something?

Definitley Savelio, i was talking to the St Helens Academy coach on saturday and he said Savelio was meant to debut earlier this year but he got an illness which really knocked him about, he apparently still hasn't fully recovered.

He did get an illness....His mother is a nurse in Warrington and she looked after my mother. Savelio is a top prospect

The Good news - For England- and without being too disrespectful is that we have had to start producing our own talent with the increase in the NRL salary cap. Every Super League team has some very good prospectsbut my own team Widnes Vikings have some players who could make an impact

Adam Lawton- is about 6 Foot 6 and made the first team in 2013

Jack Owens- is a great Goal kicker and again a young Widnes Lad

Danny Craven- has potential, can be a very clever player

Joe Mellor- signed from Wigan- I have no idea why Wigan let him Go- He was superb for Widnes in 2013

Joe Mellor is 23 years old and has almost 50 first grade appearances, I would hardly count him as a youngster.

Wow is he really.....I thought he was a few years younger..........None the less he was stand out for Widnes last year.....I think with another very good season behind him he could be knocking on the door for an England spot

I also got told that Savelio was pissed off when he wasn't picked in the England Academy team and will make himself available to NZ or Samoa in future.

I've been watching Danny Yates games on youtube for Catalan's reserves, he has been going well and last week against Toulouse he scored two tries.

Nathan Mason is apparently playing for Batley v Dewsbury on Boxing Day i believe Spud.

Joe Keyes an 18yo halfback from London Broncos has been given a 4 week trial at the New Zealand Warriors, i haven't seen much of him but hopefully he impresses enough to pick up a contract.
If i was to recommend an English halfback to an NRL u20's team it would be another 18yo Londoner James Woodburn-Hall.
