a really good race this

i'm going with MENTALITY. super impressive 1st up last prep with 61kg. and not a bad run in the golden rose behind court command. i love it when hawkes spells the young ones when it looks like they should be winning good races. this guy will come back alot better than the spring. Beadman on board from an inside barrier will have him probably a bit worse than midfield, but he'll be running on.

MEDIA is the obvious danger. was a cracking run last start, where it probably should have won. will run well

Yeah 3 in it for me.

I'm having trouble splitting the 3 year old (Mentality) and Fashions Afield. And I don't like backing horses second up, but Media was a good run first up.

Gonna go -

1st - Fashions Afield
2nd - Mentality
3rd - Media

Only reason I split them is with Mentality taking on the older horses...

Went with Pendragon lol in the tipping comp just to try and snag and early break on everyone, but seriously I think Media, Mentality and Fashions Afield are almost a shoe-in for the tri.

Can't split it between Media and Mentality, with FA a close third.
