The main goal of the F7s Radio program is to spread the word of F7s across not only LeagueUnlimited.com, but the World Wide Web. And in the tradition of promoting the great game further, we would like to announce that, with conjunction with the F7s Management, we will be running the first official Tipping Comp for the Forum Sevens competition. Just like with rugby league, you can now test your ability to choose who you think will win the F7 encounters each round.
Each punter will send a private message to Waken with their choice of winners for each of the 9 Rounds of the competition; the rep games wont be included. Your tips have to be in by the Saturday before the round begins on the upcoming Sunday. E.g. Round 1 tips are to be PMed to me by 11.59pm 10th March (with Round 1 starting 12th March).
Your tips will not be viewed or given to anyone but myself.
After each round the tipping leader-board will be posted in this thread. As a prize for the winner of the comp, who picks the most correct winners, they'll receive a flash banner for their signature as well as bragging rights until the end of next F7s season!
It will be open for anyone to play. Note: We feel that maybe there should be discussion on the idea of full-time referees joining the tipping competition. We know that youre all fair and full of integrity. There are no physical prizes so we can't think of any reason why it would influence a decision. But possibly for sake of harmony the refs might steer clear of this. Just to save arguments, Im sure you know what, and those people who, Im talking about. But peoples opinions on this are welcome.
Get involved. Itll add a bit more excitement to the already action packed F7s season we will have in store. Please post here on PM me if you are interesting in having a go, or your thoughts on the first F7s Tipping Comp.
