Anyone been? Anyone going?
Were hitting up the byron leg, 3/4 days camping in the sweat fest.. Not sure if to go the free camping where you set up your own tent or the rent a tent situation where they do everything for you, but you can't take your own piss which seems a bit f**ked.. $8 mid strength cans for 4 days- mmmm think I'll be shelving a few bottles up my arse and forsekin and living off that for a bit...
Any advice appreciated dudes

I only went once and that was at the PROPER Falls site at Lorne on 2004. I have not been back since and not just because the line ups get progressively shite. I had so much fun that I'm afraid that if I go back I will one up myself.

The Living End, The Black Keys, Billy Bragg, You Am I, Veruca Salt. That was one hell of a line up. Would loved to have gone in 97 and 98 where Iggy Pop and Blondie headlined respectively

Been to Lorne, and we were able to smuggle drinks in on our minibus, went to Byron a few years ago, and had much more issues with Alcohol.

Our best bet catching the bus to brunswick in the morning, having a swim, go to the pub, and bottleo, then hopefully getting back to the site before the security start checking towels and budgie smugglers.

How strict are they with your vehicle i.e. if I was to put a carton or two in my spare wheel hub underneath the seven seats??

Well in Bryon, you have to park your car, empty it and carry your stuff to the campsite, where you go through a checkpoint.

Nah, we stayed in the public area, where you took your own ten, and you couldn't drive in. You had to wheelbarrow it all
