Yeah, Im keen as for this, loved FC3 and cheesy 80's action movies, pre-ordered as soon asI saw it.

Plenty of promotion for this from Ubisoft too, talk of turning it into it's own franchise if it's a success, plus playing as Michael "Come with me if you want to live" Biehn is pretty awesome on it's own.

Ahhh yeah i can see that... there is a 15 minute gameplay on IGN and Gamespot... actually some people have posted the whole playthrough but the 15 minute demo should give you a good idea as to whether you think its nostalgia valhalla or just a little to much to stomach...

got it last night... probably a quarter through... its more Far Cry 3 fun with a whole bunch of little 80's nostalgia - The Predator thermal image sound when you activate your Cyborg eye kills me...

They probably overdo it with the self awareness of some of the writing - it would of been much cooler if they went balls out self serious like most of those B Grade action movies from the '80s were BUT its still a tonne of fun to play and for your audio and visual senses to take in.

Well worth $20.00 if you want more Far Cry 3...

ohhh and the soundtrack is f**kin phenomenal...

I love the info screens that come up during loading sections things like "The takedown drag ability has nothing to do cross dressers" or "Hand guns are guns that fit in your hand. the future is here!" are great.

Tried fighting a Blood Dragon with a bow, it did not end well.

Prolonging my experience with this because

a) its reinforced just how great the FPS gameplay is in FarCry3 - especially the bow errm sorry the Neon Bow...

b) I just am in love with how balls out batsh!t crazy Ubisoft have gone with the script, the references, the cheesy one liners... all of it...

For a $20 download im nearing up to 12 hours with a few missions to go and will 100% the game... amazing value for money...

I was genuinely upset when I finished Far Cry 3 because I never wanted it to end. Got this as soon as I discovered it was a thing. It's fantastic. I've downloaded the soundtrack, never done that for a game before.
