Talkin Sport said Farah is in major doubt for Roosters game. Has anyone heard anything more? (Bubbles?)

Other posts indicating he is not playing......Not happy Timmy Shines, could have indicated something abit earlier than this? With the injuries we already have, a punt was only just worth it, but now...... should be investigated.

He's got osteo pubis and reports are that he'll battle through Sunday's game before going under the knife. Could be out for 6-8 weeks with George Ndaira filling in for him.

Yeah just read that article, when did George Ndaira cone back into the picture?? Handy replacement, certainly beats playing a utility in that position.

I'm very concerned about these injuries, what the f**k is going on.

Taquiri & Lawrence injuries were unfortunate but the rest seem to be injuries carried through from off season. Gibbs and Ellis were named to start in rd 1 ( from memory) 4 weeks later and no sign of them. Should our medical staff take some responsibility or is that part of sheens' stupid mind games.

This is a nightmare for our season 2011. We are almost at the point where you just write this season off and look towards 2012. I'm sure we will continue to be competitive, but the attrition rate is so high now, we just lack the class to win games. If we make the 8 this season it will be an amazing effort.

Best case scenario I think for us is to somehow scramble maybe 5 wins from our first 11-12 games, then get people back on deck. Even that is becoming a long shot, but the club won't give up. We will still be kicking on the fringes of the 8 with a month to go.

Ellis started round 1,his groin injury had recovered,he hurt his ankle against the Dog.
We are having a deadset horror run with injuries though,if we can hang in there we will be strong at the back end of the season.

I posted this somewhere else but, man this is dissapointing. I have no doubt that our remaining troops will try their hardest but sheesh.
I feel we were overhyped and talked up to much before the season even began. What a bloody curse that was. Not to sound negative so early but come on. WTF is going on here?
Three weeks in and it just feels such a waste. Such a shame. :(

It's a long season... Think Dragons 2005, Eels 2009, etc. We're not even off to that slow a start, we can afford to let a few early games slip. We've got the depth and we're well and truly capable of coming home with a wet sail. Better that we get these things out of the way now than in three months time.

Better having these injuries now than in September. All these players will be back later in the year.

As of Friday at 4.45pm he was playing.

Make no mistake he is enormous pain and discomfort.

To the point where getting off the lounge for him is a major task.

He has a massive decision to make, give up rep footy and six weeks of football or risk it "going" on him on the eve of the semis.

Just as another piece of wonderful news for us, Gareth Ellis has the same issue, but this little break seems to have dome him some good.

Osteitis pubis causes tension and pain between your belly button and your pubes.

Lads, I will keep you posted re Farah regarding tomorrow and the immediate future,

Farkwit has this habit of playing blokes who are injured and/or unfit....costing the side wins. Players like Collis, Hodgson, McKinnon, Fulton, Benji, Farah and so on and so on..

Farah has a history of playing injured when its clear that he shouldn't have played. He did it in Origin, and several times for the Tigers, and has always been terrible when he does. Seems like an ego thing, I hope someone steps in and tells him to take the surgery.

Either way, people are going to criticise him. Don't play Origin because you're injuried.......well, you're not tough enough and don't deserve to be there. Play injured and put in as much as possible.....well, you shouldn't have taken the field.

The bloke was dying to play Origin his whole life...as if he was going to turn it down....if anything, the doc should have told Bellamy it wasn't good to go. Not all the blame lies with Farah.
