What a beautiful piece of music.
Knopfler almost always plays without a plectrum. He uses his thumb, index, and middle fingers which gives him those with sudden snaps and the ability to play bass lines, chords, and melody simultaneously, a bit like Paul did in the Beatles when his baselines were melodic.
Knopfler, another Fender Stratocaster genius.
Good pickup Tm.
Sultans of Swing is my fav Knopfler composition.

These next two songs played on my IPOD last night so i asked my google home mini how old the artist were and was saddened to hear Lou Christie had passed away in 2025.

I just watched a movie (based on a true story) about a guy who sings in a Neil Diamond tribute band, called Song Sung Blues.
With Hugh Jackman & Kate Hudson, there is a documentary on this as well, interesting.
If you ain't singing Neil Diamond songs by the end, you weren't listening hahaha

I was going to watch it but I thought it wouldn't be that good but it is good hey?
