I like Gallant Tess here. There's something there in the form that I can't put my finger on, but it's jumping out at me :lol:. Finished well in her first 2 runs over 1200m then held ground 3rd up over 1200m indicating more ground required. Gets a nice run from barrier 2 (been drawn out all 3 starts).

Two Twenty Swift looks like the 1600m will suit. Bossy on board and drawn well. Anamato there abouts.

Theseo and Tottler the only others to trouble the placings...

Joice’s thoughts – Planning on hitting the ground running with a decent win bet on Anamato. Sectionals were outstanding when a strong finishing fifth behind Gold Edition in the Magic Night Stakes. Jumps to the mile which is sure to suit and should enjoy the run of the race behind likely leader Theseo.

Payne’s thoughts – I would love to be backing the Gallant Tess I saw at her first two race starts but she didn’t fire last time out in the Magic Night which is worrying from a betting prospective. For the record I’m going to put her on top because she would be winning on her Sweet Embrace run. Anamato is one that is on the up. Hit the line strongly in the Magic Night and has worked strongly since while Theseo should get an easy lead here and be hard to run down.
