Festive challenge and friendlys

Whats the go with all these games happening over there at xmas time?

Weve had Leeds & Wakefield in a 'Festive challenge"

and 'friendlies between St Helens & leigh and aslo Widnes/Warrington.

Are these regualar games like some clubs here have regular trials ie: Charity shield etc|?

Clubs like to get as many trial games as they can before the season,and traditionally games have been played before a big crowd on boxing day,so the clubs have put two and two together.
