Question re Field Goal.
Has the rule changed regarding the field goal .
It was always the ball had to be dropped on the ground then kicked .

After watching Milfords FG last night from what I can see he drops it straight on his boot & kicks .
It's hard to tell but that's what I saw after a few views

I'm a cows fan ...but if that did happen good luck to him getting away with it .
I remember Wally Lewis in the SOO quagmire at Lang Park saying he did the same .

It surprises me that the video ref don't check on if it touched the ground .
Especially in games like last night or the GF .
They check on everything else ..

Then again in golden point there seems to be no offsides...no penalties .
So they probably just let it go .

He even said in the post match interview that after he dropped it and it hit the ground, it bounced to the right, which you can clearly see in the stills provided, and the video if you watch the highlights.

From the replays I saw it didn't look like it touched the ground .
It did looking at stills above

I still think somewhere along the line the Vr will take a look at one .
