Given the ineffectiveness of the kicking game the Townsend selection was incorrect. Lewis at five eighth would have got more ball. Peachey would have been very interesting in the last 20 minutes with a busted defense to run at.

Townsend was absolute rubbish out there, he didnt threaten the line, he looked scared with the ball, his kicking game was plain dumb, we only got the ball to find the grass once in about the 73rd minute, he was selected to do a job and failed, Townsend must take a fair share of the blame he was basically a passenger.

The Gordon try came from Lewis playing a 5/8 role and setting up Gordon but Chad was not up to it, thanks for nothing mate hope you enjoy playing in NZ

The other issue was with the hooker rotation at beginning of year we heard Lichaa was to be given game time he was not given 1 minute, he should have had a chance, we hear this kid can play well we never seen it, anyone had to be better then De Gois.

DCE was somewhat of a difference, but Townsend couldnt even get a kick to find the grass once that is not up to standard whatever the warriors paid him is too much

Two clear points came out of the game for me. Townsends kicking game wasn't up to scratch he seemed to get under the ball too much going for distance and gave the ball to manly on the full every set. Second was de gois gives bad service out of dummy half. For a hooker he has a bad passing game and come next year we need lichaa off the bench from round 1. Game was there we just made a couple of mistakes at the wrong time and didn't seem to get much luck. I do feel we finished the year with more attacking options and I actually feel we are starting to turn our attack around.
