Wonder if we’ll get talk of Burton bottling it? Missed how many attempts? There was a golden point match earlier in the season where he missed about 4, but the other team were equally useless and he eventually got one to win the game. Funny though, media don’t want to hammer the dogs.

Despite his much-hyped large boot and a huge breeze at his back his kicks from 40m out didn't even go close to having the distance. Embarassing. The Dishlickers choked big time.

One of the very very very rare occasions I’m happy to see Manly win.

Im going to post something new in the Petty things thread…… Jacob Preston!

Imaging having a proper halfback like DCE.
For all his good kicking, his defence is woeful.
Got a manly mate who can’t stand the bloke and I’ve been watching him closely the last few years. DCE has a Shazza like ability to avoid any contact in tackles to the point it looks like he’s avoiding missed tackle stats. He’s almost Moyza bad and is really impacting Garrick.
Yes DCE keeps a cool head with the ball but Dogs completely bottled that game with Mahoney stupidity. There’s a reason DCE hasn’t won a comp since his first year rookie season where he had legends protecting him.

Much as it goes against the grain to admit it, the thing you have to admire about Manly yesterday was that when it mattered, their marquee players took the game on & won. That last try was unbelievable.

Our marquee players don't have the same steel (not just Nicho).
Except for Nikora.

The question that I had was: Who would we prefer to play in the Grand Final?

The answer would be: Manly…

However, that’s looking unlikely…

Oh FFS!!!

Let's just get there first. I hate these future posts and threads. You win your next game and you play who you play. There's no preference because there is no control over it.

Far out. That challenge by manly was exactly the same as the Melbourne challenge against us last week where Jack Williams foot was in the ruck. No surprise that the result this week was opposite to our result. Joke.
