Finals Week One

Fellow Chookie fans,

I'm originally a Wollongong boy and a life long Roosters fan, and am now living in NY on a working visa and have founded the Brooklyn Kings.

I'm headed back home with one of our local home-grown players, Odain Brown, for a two week Rugby League experience and am hoping to catch our first finals game. I know the day we play is dependent on the Manly game, but what are the two scenarios?

Also, those in the Chookpen, I'd love to show Odain the true game day experience and make him a Rooster for life, so if you have plans to grab a beer before the game let us know! We'd love to chat footy with you!

As I understand things, and it's a disgrace that it is yet to be finalised already; but if we finish 2nd we will face South Sydney on Friday night.

If we finish first then I suspect we'll play Saturday night as a stand alone Friday night match vs Penrith, Melbourne or NQ will not appeal over Souths vs Manly.

There are so many variables still, given that any double header won't happen in Sydney if the Cowboys and Storm finish 5 & 6, thus we'll have two out of town finals matches.

So after rambling... if Cowboys win tomorrow we'll likely play Saturday night but if Manly win then we'll definitely play Friday night.

That probably didn't help much lol
