Basically true what you say there Clive but it's a bit rough on Cody, I know someone that would disagree with that one.
Hi Morehead St.I figure you are referring to the street near Redfern Oval.
A couple of stories,my Dad lived there and started following Souths about 1914,one of his good mates was the great Harold Horder who lived around there also!
Good post mate!
Further to that, for those interested in the history of Souths I asked my father why Horder was so good? His reply was that Horder could sidestep off either foot and swerve,he could run the ball out from Souths goal line and score under the posts, this he could repeat often in the same game!

Count me in for Munster over Cody.

Edit-Both very good players. However you don’t get very good Cody every single game. When he goes missing so does our game plan.
Yeah but if Souths had Munster we would maybe lose Cook or Murray to remain cap compliant.

So do we want Cody, Cook and Murray or do we want Munster and lose one of the others?

Munster is off contract after 2020.

Plenty of time to fit him in the cap while other players move on.

Cody will be in his 30’s and Munster still young 20’s, you could build your team around Munster

If GI plays on I think we can forget Munster, and 2020 is 2 years away, too much water to go under the bridge before then.

I’m big fan of both. I don’t expect us to get Munster or even try. I was just saying if I had the choice I’d have Munster.

But thinking outside the box. We could make room with a Munster/Connor Tracey combo. Renno must be on some coin.

Mate We are playing Saints on Sat.night some of this argument is totally irrelevant I think
It's 2018 and our halves are Walker and Reyno, posturing about 2020 is fantasyland.
We may as well talk about life on Mars!

We should be talking about Saturday’s game, correct.

But you hijacked it with the Cody vs Munster stuff.

Maybe just talk about the game aye :)

So you wabbits, who’s going to win on Saturday and why?

Without looking at records I know I’ve lost more lottery tickets to your fans than I’ve won over the last 10 years.

Gee it’s great to see Dragons v Rabbits in a final again.

Anyway, I’m ignoring the bookies and I don’t think there’s much difference on paper, certainly in the two games we’ve played this there wasn’t. We had two tries disallowed in the first probably should’ve got one and you guys scored on full time in the second so they were pretty close games.

Pressure of expectation is with you guys though, and you have to overcome losing last week. I’m thinking we have some momentum and will win in a close one.

Your thoughts?

Can’t wait for this one. I think it’s going to be a long night for the drags after losing Widdop. I can see us winning this one by 40 and resting our guns with 15 mins to go.

I prefer Cody and Cody has better stats than Munster this year.

The other night Cody was more involved than Munster.

Munster will break our cap so no thanks.

Well if Cecchin is ref we are in strife.

I’ve spoken with lots of Dragons members yesterday and as Widdop is outthey aren’t bothering going. The pax update from a guy in the crowd watch thread on main forum is only 14k tickets have been sold. Both supporter bases need to get off their arse and get out there. Watching it at Dragons Leagues Club and Souths Juniors is a cop out and not supporting your team in the best way possible.... there is no excuses.. I don’t just aim that at your members.... I’m sure there are lots of Souths ones who can’t be bothered either and think oh it’s on TV!

I think with Widdop out it’s a big loss. I think we will target Hunt and he will make some errors. I think De Belin won’t last the game and there is a big chance Graham knocks himself out again! I just think Cody Walker will be the difference and GI. I think Sam will really turn it around after last week the champ he is. He won’t play that bad again!

The Dragons will put up a fight but Bunnies by 10 I reckon.

Cookie to get your tired forwards too.

$4.00is way out though. You guys should be like $2.75 and us $1.45.

He was giving an analysis which he is entitled too!

Let’s keep it all friendly!

What’s your analysis of this game!

We should be concerned if we get Cecchin that’s for sure...

I just gave my analysis above!

From what I’ve seen of your comments I think you’re too harsh on Cody. Some of it is warranted imo but not all of what you put on him. He will be the difference on Saturday imo.

Interesting.

Wont get into the Cody v Munster debate but Cody did something similar in the first game against Dragons this year at the end when the game was in the balance and you guys were on our line. He has scored tries in both games against us though.

I just met up with a mate this morning that is a sharks supporter, he is saying that Holmes will be playing for NQ in 2020 and that the sharks will be making a big play for Munster, given that the storm won't want to lose him he will likely get overs wherever he ends up at.

What about Doueihi, don't forget him?
