Yea you have to register, it's 10 free articles a month with them I think.

Good article overall although Monday Night is hardly iconic in British tv terms. Criminally underused by Sky over the years and only in the last couple has soccer returned to the slot and it is a ratings winner of a slot. Great place for SL to be in.

Have they done a Business of RL section yet do you know? They do them for other sports I've seen from time to time but I've never seen one for League. Always great reads.

*Surprised with the FT on the ball front but that's a minor quibble.
