And this is why is so important to have a strong coaching team. Price has plenty of experience as a Head Coach and Hannay has had a couple of interim stints so they are well placed to handle the occasion. Coach Fitz will learn a lot about the strength of the culture in his coaching team and senior playing group this week.

The best test of a leader is how the team functions when they are absent. The weak ones make it all about them and therefore team performance is dependent on their presence. The strong ones build a system that is not dependent on them.

The NRL squad is 100% jabbed and majority if not all have had covid already over Christmas. I know you can get it soon again but everyone I know who has had it hasn't got it again that quick. A mate in the states has had it three times but few and far apart.

I just heard on the radio that the NRL has given approval to coaches having access to the coaches box, dressing room via either phone, facetime etc. If they are isolated.

Read story today that Fitzy has been conversing all week via video link, so this seems he came down with it yesterday, but as a family member had it he isolated to prevent players getting it.

Holdsworth will be in blue shirt on Friday running the instructions, he is only person in sharks history to score just 1 point

Yep there is a video hook up for him with screens I was told. Will do the pre game speech and deliver his messages. In the box he will be on zoom I assume but was told he will be in the box with Hannay/Price virtually.

I think he got it on Saturday and with players having the weekend off he they weren't a close contact, which is pretty lucky.

Technically the Knights are. O'Brien did a trial of him missing a game during the trials in case this exact thing happened. Pretty smart idea.

Either way with technology these days, assuming he'll be able to get other camera feeds other than what Fox are showing it should be pretty seamless. Certainly something you dont want to do every game but I'm glad our two ACs have HC experience.
