Fitzy and Foley remain Roosters!!

We all know that Mini is staying a Rooster to the end of 2009 and now Fitzy will remain a Chook for at least another year.

Foley will stay till the end of 2008 this is Official news from the Roosters Website.

I'm pleased they are both staying Fitz a club man through and through and Foley a promising young back.

I believe a year off from Rep duties should help freshen up Fitzy and we will see him back to his best sooner rather than later constantly improving each week. He takes great pride in his duties on and off the field and I know he'll be itching to get a rep jersey back next season.

Finally some positives to come out of a bad month for Chooks fans

Foley has been great for you guys, definatley 1 guy that would do a better job on the wing than Mellars when Mini eventually comes back (granted probably not till next season)

Quite a few of our fans think he is too small to be a winger....but I think he has a bright future and I'm glad he stayed with us.

I can see where they are coming from but if they have the talent then size should be a side issue

Wests Tigers is a perfect example with McDonnell playing on the wing and carving up all over the park, he is the same size as Hodgo but is bloody gifted that they had to find room for him on the park and no way are we going to relegate Hodgo back to PL - simular to Mini / Roosters
