Payout half of Brian Smith's contract over the final 2 years, he gets 400K for doing nothing. Pay a replacement coach 200k per year and the club makes no loss.

If I was a Parramatta supporter, I'd be after a bigger scalp than Smith. The person that renewed Smith's contract to $400K a season without first wining a premiership should be the one who is fired!

Put yourself in Smiths shoes. Your getting paid an insane amount of money. There is no way you could get another coaching gig anywhere near that amount. There is no way he will step down. Sacking Smith will cost a fortune. So, the best thing the board could do is sack the imbecile who got the club into this miserable situation.
