I like how NRL 360 they say Galvin best place to go is the Bulldogs as if they are guaranteed a premiership in a few years. Sharks were similar, everyone told to go their for a premiership. That is working out well.

If Galvin want to win a comp he is far better going to the Eels because they have Moses. Moses/Galvin halves are much stronger than Galvin/Burton.

I have a feeling Saints are going to give the Dogs Latu for a dud, someone like Hutchison or Jake Turpin, . However if Saints do get Atkinson earlier like what is proposed in another post that would be ideal and Saints I feel come out the better of the 3 teams in that trade.

Yes it's always nice to hear when we've beaten another club to a decent young player's signature - has been the other way round with many of our juniors in the past.

The strategy seems to be when Flanagan thinks they're ready for a debut, to sit them down, tell them the club is ready to commit to them with a NRL debut, they need to commit back to the club and sign a 2 year extension. Worked with Stewart, Egan, and I think the Couchman's, and now LKT. LPT had already been signed as the potential was obvious. Obviously something went wrong with the Latu situation. Halangahu also signed to the top 30 for 2026 and 2027 I think.

Will be tricky to find spots for all these young forwards considering we don't have that may existing players off contract at the end of this year, and considering we all know we need to sign at least one superstar forward to the roster as well, maybe two, to help the kids develop and to really be competitive.

Assume Eisenhuth retires, obviously we lose Latu, release RFM, Fifita, Klemmer. Not sure about the Molo situation, is it a mutual option? Big decision to make on JDB, but assume he gets another year.

Very interesting to see who else is being groomed for our top 30, some have mentioned Jett Liu, Stanley-Trail, and Nick T.

I think those boys mentioned . Are definitely dragons till they die IF they continue to get game time. The club won’t let those 4 slip!

We are losing close games because of inexperience and some poor quality players. Our first-grade youngsters will have more NRL experience and another off-season under their belt. Hopefully we will have more success in recruiting a couple of alpha props.

A halves combo of Flanno and Atkinson will not do the job. We need at least one of the halves to be a marquee player.

If Dogs want Latu early we should ask for Jack Todd in return. He's a solid lock forward who has great potential and then we get Atkinson early if Dogs give Sharks Wilson which is the rumour. I'd like us to try sign Pahulu from Titans. He played school footy with Loko and he's a great young player.

I assume the Dogs are looking to give up a back in exchange for *Latu (if the rumour is true), as I dont see any logic in getting an 18yr old 6 months early and then giving up an older middle to do it.. who they might need for finals.. only makes sense if its a player that is well down the pecking order and wants out.

Ignoring swaps though... I think the June 30 deadline means if were gonna sign anyone early for this years #30 slot.. we have to do it before then.. so Pahulu for example might be a candidate.. but if we cant land anyone worth landing (and we have to be careful... we dont want another Guler/VFifita sitting on the cap for 2+ years) then we probably end up using the slot on an internal, and hope to land a decent 2026 prop instead.

Don't think we will need anymore journeymen type forwards by next year our young forwards should be older and better. I think at this stage of his career that's all you'd class Klemmer as now. I'd rather keep the cash to add to the kitty for the alpha prop or props. Let's make no mistake when the next Fonua Blake pops up.
