Webster has identified Capewell as a player who will help the Warriors immensely. He has won premierships at Penrith and just missed out with the Broncos. Webster knows Capewell I must admit so that would have helped. The thing is though, we identify players but so do others and those players then go elsewhere rather than join us. Capewell knew that the Broncos needed money to re-sign some star players and they have good players to replace him and rather than his manager putting him on the open market, he gets word from Webster that he would be a good fit at the Warriors, they talk business and the deal is done. Just like that.

We need to be able to get deals done like this.

It's fine to disagree about something but you've continued to belittle other posters opinions by claiming "bad" post quality. If you don't like the posters, put them on ignore or simply leave this board.

What's missing in this world is often simple respect.
Some demand it without earning, nor showing it, themselves.

Despite me being a Junior on this forum, you DD have earnt such respect. You're passionate, sometimes a ranter, sometimes thoughtful, clever, even cranky, but can still laugh at yourself.

If we were all the same the world would be bloody boring.

Other people make themselves feel more powerful or important by putting someone else down.
It may provide them with a short term rise in self esteem, but diminishes their respect from others. They end up total Narcissists
