Tim Smith was a standout at halfback. Feleti played but was quite due to Witt playing 5/8. I thought Brett Delaney looked very good in 3/4 and Fui Fui played very good.
the flegg team is basically the SG Ball team that also had an ordinary season.
The team has been ripped apart with Delany, Anderson, Jack Afa, Weller, Tim Smith, Ben Smith, Feleti and Joel Reddy or playing at a higher level after showing great promise at the begining of the year.
Witt played a good game and he should be put in 1sts off that preformance. HE and Smith continually changed from first reciever. Witt didnt look comfortable at 5/8. They played well.
I forgot to mention Joel Reddy, I didn't rate him before but if he scores more trys like the couple he did yesterday then he will change my mind. He was playing at 3/4 yesterday, Along with a fit Brett delaney who looks the goods.
Look Witt did try hard but with Smith in the team he was most likely instructed to continaully switch in the half duties. He didnt train wit the prem team all week and it wouldve been unfair to shove Smith at 5/8. I think Witt played wonderful in patches and the first grade side needs him who has some limited firsts experience.
Thanks for these updates everyone - news on lower grades is really hard to get over here, and it's good to hear opinions from people who watched the games.
