Flegg eligibility

Was thinking about this yesterday, and my brother and I realised that a heap of players in FG and PL could quite easliy move back in JF for the semis. The roosters are undefeated but we thought this side could beat them convincingly;

1. Reddy
2. Anderson
3. Graham
4. O'Dwyer
5. B. Smith
6. T. Smith
7. Green
8. Tsoulos
9. Jones
10. Cordoba
11. Afamasaga
12. Hauraki
13. Mateo

7 have played FG this year and I would expect the majority will be in the top grade at some stage next year.

Ash Graham, Luke O'Dwyer... Is the Flegg age set at U19, U20, or U21s this season?

And is there a minimum number of games you have to play in flegg during the season before qualifying to in finals?

Flegg is an under 20's comp this year. O'Dwyer is 21 so he is only just too old. Ash Graham and Justin Tsoulos both played in a Flegg game earlier in the year. Ryan Hinchcliffe is also eligible. Chris Armit would only just miss out too as he turns 21 in October. The Roosters spent big bucks getting their side together this year (Big League reported about $300000) and most of these guys have been developed by Parra which proves that although we may not win the Club Championship, we are still the best at producing talent.

Thanks Eela, it seems to change every year anyway

Mateo's played 6 JF, Reddy and Ben Smith 7 and Cordoba 8. The others (except Tsoulos, Graham and O'Dwyer) have played 10 JF games or more this season. So it's certainly a good side on it's day.

I actually know a former Roosters flegg player and they are offered shitloads of dough to sign with the club, in fact he's playing rugby this year and he got a phone call from Ricky who wants him back.

They changed the Flegg age group UTE.

Harold Matts is U 15's

SG Ball is Under 17's

Flegg is under 20's.

Dont the players have to play a certain %of games in each grade before they are eligible to play in that grade.

Generally its four of the last seven games. I think unless you start in a grade higher in the remaining games you are still eligible to play lower grades as well.
