Google
Amazon
Myspace

I wasnt being smart Mong thats usually what I do.

I understand what you mean though ie fans.

I like amazon because normally if the artist has recorded something, there are normally a few reviews to give you an idea, then I just have a listen and take it from there.

Excellent... I was hoping someone would actually give some suggestions on what are some good songs worth listening to.. Couldn't be bothered going through 700+ results..

In any case, we decided that we are not going to watch much of the support act...

Kaki King was played a fair bit on Triple J a few Fridays ago, they were mentioning how she was one of Dave Grohl's favourite acts. From memory the music was nothing like Foo Fighters so I'm not sure how she'll go with the crowd (which unfortunately will probably be filled with Nova fan-boys/girls and not people who like real music), I think most of her work is instrumental only but she does sing on a few tracks.

Should be worth a listen.

I also just remembered they said she played backing guitar on the instrumental "Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners" on the latest album too. It's that sort of folk/laid back guitar driven riff you'll probably hear a lot of.

Whilst I find the Fooies great in concert (energetic, look like they want to be there, unlike some who go through the motions) there music is getting a bit stale for mine.

They have the odd song that is catchy but most are short lived radio songs that have been done, they dont seem to have the long lasting classic feel anymore.

I guess you run the risk of changing something your good at to something your not but I havent bought an album from them in a while.

One thing you cant question though is there effort, they continually pump out albums and tour, and every interview with Grohl ive seen he is a real character......I really want to love his music again!

The show was pretty awesome... I won't give much away on what happens for those still yet to go but your in for a good night.

Only complaint i guess i could have is that it is most of the time it's the Dave Grohl show as the other two guitar players don't do a whole lot, but Grohl more then makes up for it.

Didn't watch Kaka King's set but she popped up during the Foo's for a song.

Power on the train lines towards the stadium went down and in all their wisdom Queensland Rail saw fit to only put 2 busses on to transport those stuck.. Took a while to get there in the end but well worth it.

The Sydney show was awesome - and at 2 and a half hours, well worth the money too. Given one previous CD and a few live performances, they now seem to have an acoustic session as part of the whole thing now.

Friggin awesome... involving the whole crowd in terms of their stage placement was brilliant... great setlist although there were a couple of ones off the new album I would've liked to hear. Brilliant entertainer too, good communication with the audience. Two and a half hours too! Incredible.

It was a great night. Monkey Wrench and All My Life tore the place down. Also enjoyed the accoustic section.

And, wow, they played Watershed!

Also, Mark Riddell was there; stood behind him in the merchandise line outside after the show. Of course, there was one "HUR HUR MARK RIDDELL" dickhead.

Gotta say, hate it when you get idiots who should be on the floor up in the front row of the tiered section dancing like there's no tomorrow :fist:

It was a great night. Monkey Wrench and All My Life tore the place down.

They were played in succession at the 1st Brisbane gig.. Encore was about 7 or 8 songs as well it seemed..

I'd definately go again..
