Yep, that's about how many times I've mentioned the footy today. I couldn't sleep last night, it was like Christmas Eve when I was a youngster. I was having dreams of a jolly Arthur Beetson in a bright red, white and blue suit coming down the chimney. He had the Telstra trophy in a big sack with a big V on it. He drank the six pack I left him on the table and went to my fridge for some more. Ho Ho Ho, it's footy time!!!

Now I have to wait until the 11:00 replay of the game on Fox. It's like waking up on Christmas Day and having to wait for your parents to wake up and you can hear the kids next door already opening their presents.

Sorry about that post. I couldn't contain myself.

mojo, my son made the exact same analogy to me. He said waking up felt like christmas but it was frustrating to have to wait until the evening to open the presents.

I had a great time last night watching the game with my kids. Both are Knights supporters. The season couldn't have started any better for me and so far my footy tipping is lookin' good.

I'm excited and nervous about Sunday as I am never over confident no matter what team we play. How good does it feel to have the footy back though.

As for the tipping, I'm two from two, but what the hell was I thinking tipping the Eels. Perhaps I was expecting one or two Bulldogs to be "out" for some reason this week. This scoreline is embarrassing and there's only 25 mins gone.

Don't worry about tomorrow. The only thing that worries me is how exhausted the team will get scoring all those tries (much like the Dogs right now).
