I wouldnt read to much into the fact he is playing 5/8 at wee waa

what are the gonna do, stick a guy, who his several classes above evryone else on the paddock out to the centres and hope he gets some ball?

probably yes.....

i mean Jamie running onto a half decent pass at Group level would carve up all day long with his speed, evasive ability and strength

him playing 5/8 is a subtle signal to Parra IMHO

I think Jamie at 5-8 for Wee Waa was just a local selection choice? He'd run onto passes just as successfully there at second receiver and carve em up as he should have in the centres at Parra if Wagon/Dykes ever fed the ball out to him...

If Lyon decides he wants back into the club, I still think the players he let down should get a chance to vote or make their concerns heard, in order to help the healing process along.

It's a possibility Davester. I think Fitzgerald mentioned Wests as a possibly acceptable destination for Jamie provided he lived outside Cambelltown ("rural").

I think a lot of the Parra players would feel let down by Jamie and the way it all happened, and unless he wants back in the Eels as his first priority, I think there'd be some unfinished business that would make his return to us difficult.

I'm so confused on this issue with Jamie, Didn't he say a while back that he would love to come back to Parra one day and play. Now he want's to come back to the Nrl, Why doesn't he stay with Parra. Why is there all the fuss of Tigers, Panthers, Manly etc.

From all reports, the Tigers have already begun extensive negotiations with him.

Sheens was talking about it on Fox tonight. He did play it down a little though, but I think there could be a fair chance he could be coming to us. ;-)

The rumour of the Tigers running for his signature is confirmed. It's in the RLW magazine, and there was a segment on fox sports news about it...now I await for Sports Tonight on Channel 10 to see if they are going to add to it.

Personally, dont care where he goes, just dont want him back in the blue and gold. Before I get crucified, I dont want him screwing us around again. Give me one loyal player instead of a talented player any day, at least you'll get 100% commitment.

Well, it's not just as simple as Lyon & the Tigers agreeing to a contract it needs to pass Dennis before he becomes a Tiger.

Still need to find a hooker and 1 more 2nd rower.

In one of the Tigers v Manly games this year (I think the one at Brookvale) there were 16 Ex-Eels involved in the 1st grade match

That's the great unspoken "mystery" in all this, PN. He should be made to publically explain as a condition of any release, if only to settle the issue once and for all in our minds.

PJ is either going to Souths or Parramatta. And it's more on the side of Parramatta...I don't see PJ at the Tigers and it never ever came to mind that he would.
