They scored 1 minute later - maybe it should have been a penalty try or at least a sin-bin but IMO there was doubt over whether Sing would have got the ball before it made it over the dead ball line - hence the reason to award the penalty and not the try!

The way I see it was a penalty try (possible 8 points) and No.1 in the bin...the game changes then.

I reckon Sing was going to get there.

I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible but hey it's all XXXX under the bridge now (starts uncontrollable sobbing again).

Penalty tries aren't worth 8 points - just the usual 4 plus given under the sticks so add 2 for the conversion.....8 point tries are for fouls after a try is actually scored (and they don't necessarily end up with 8 points cos the first conversion is taken from whereever the was scored, which may be hard, thus missed...but then there is a penalty kick from directly infront...so a potential 8 pts).

I gotta agree - at the time I thought certain penalty try - Simpkins didn't even bother going to the video referee - shocking decision. (10 in the bin...hmmm - maybe for this one, but certainly not the other one you referred to with Kennedy, that just warranted a penalty).

Don't worry Belly - its just a game.....admittedly probably THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME of the year bar the GF and the fact that you have no way to set the record straight now for another 12 months....but yeah, just a game
