Parramatta Eels captain Nathan Cayless and second-rower Nathan Hindmarsh are hopeful that a unique pre-season training session planned for next Wednesday (4th February), will prove to be their secret weapon in kick-starting their 2004 campaign comeback.
To celebrate the opening of Starbucks new kiosk at Westfield Parramatta, the dynamic duo will be sweating it out in a series of gruelling pre-season challenges to raise funds for local charity, the Northcott Society. Adapting their well-practiced training routines to the coffee shop environment, Hindmarsh and Cayless will compete in the Coffee-sack Crunch, the Espresso Pull and the Latte Limbo.
Members of the public are invited to witness the spectacle as Starbucks will donate $1 from every coffee sold on the day from the new Parramatta kiosk, to this worthy cause. The more people that come along and enjoy a coffee, the more money will be raised for the Northcott Society.
The Northcott Society provides support and services to over 4,000 individuals and families across NSW. It aims to help people with disabilities develop skills, maximise their potential for independence and to participate as full members of the community. Northcott supports people with a wide range of disabilities including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, neuro-muscular disorders, limb deficiency, and other lesser-known conditions and has three offices in Sydney, one of which is based in North Parramatta.
