Could be the best thing for him too.

Get right away from the whole Parra debacle and concentrate on getting consistent, long term assistance rather than fly-in fly-out therapy.

Didn't realise that he stopped getting therapy. Damn evil Eels, making Keiren play football and not letting him get the help he needs.

Why are people laughing and mocking this? The standard of this forum has stooped to wonderful new lows!

Not the worst thing that could happen for Foran, he needs to get things right away from the game this year and come back with a point to prove next year with a smoking backline (Hayne, Radradra, Guth, Jennings,... Norman, Foran) and a hardworking pack.
Our gang of 5 strategy was always designed for next season.
The best thing that could happen for the league is that Parra win 2017.

Manly have played it well, offloading two injury prone from their stocks.... both taken on by Parra. Don't they have medical checks these days?

Foran got his first official strike today (breach notice). It seems like the first step towards moving their "captain" on.

THE Parramatta Eels have issued Kieran Foran a breach notice for failure to attend training to treat his injured shoulder.

Fox Sports has learned the Eels have taken the hard-line approach against Foran after the Parramatta skipper failed to meet a number of club obligations.

There are also reports Foran has been stripped of the Eels captaincy and fined $5000.

Foran was ruled out for the season after injuring his shoulder during the Eels’ victory over the Knights last month.

The Kiwi Test playmaker has been at the centre of several controversies since switching from the Sea Eagles last October, including a prescription drug overdose that saw him rushed to hospital.

Does the breach notice mean the Eels are manoeuvring to tear up Foran’s contract?

Potentially.

NRL clubs issue breach notices when players are deemed to have failed to meet contractual obligations.

If a player receives a second and then a third breach notice it means the club intends to terminate the playing contract.

Foran was signed on a four-year $1.2 million a year contract but has so far only managed nine matches for Parramatta.

The Eels have thrown immense support behind Foran throughout an extremely challenging season on and off the field and will continue to do so.

But at some point there is a belief accountability and responsibility need to be accepted and Foran has failed to meet a number of club requirements.
