A good win - over a very gallant penrith side. By geez to beat them is hard and I congratulate both sides for the game..

Big mick's side as we know is a gallant side and needs all the accolades we can give them.

The history of the game wil show that two new teams fought out one of the best preliminary finals going.

Now onto tin tacks

who do you choose to play the final..

You guys have developed so much I would be only pleased to let you all go a them without me...my job has been done..

I am just so proud of you all....

I'm elated that we are into the GF. Now for the other Team that are filled with absolute champs Newtown.

Ozzie, what can I say, except thanx for the opportunity so far. And I'm looking forward to seeing you post something brilliant in the GF.

To the rest of the guys, WOOBLOODYHOO !!

Congrats Roosters. I'll delay those post-match drinks for after the GF, until then stay teetoal for the big game ;-)

It was hard to pick a winner, as shown by the margin (another 0.1 thriller between our sides, wow  ). Good luck in the final, should be a close, high quality encounter.

What can I say.....Lots. :D

I've left Penrith and Big Mick a message in the game thread but will reiterate that Penrith and especially Big Mick have been a pleasure to play this year. All Captains should look at how Mick (and ozzie) approach this game and their team. A lesson can be learned. Mick, you're a great sport and a credit to the club you run out under. If the result had gone your way, I would have been cheering for you guys in the GF.

Paul, you're shouting come fulltime on the 23rd. :D

ozzie, what are you talking about? What did I send you? The brains still a bit dull. Please elaborate.

Fellow Rooster boosters - we have a GF to play. Good luck Lord, ozzie, Cat, Penelope and Morticia. I know you'll do us proud. 8)

Oh, you want to get to personal insults now?

I think that there Easts forum awards for the Easts team, and next year there can be:

The "Backpacker award", which goes to the best damn reserve for the season.

The "Morticia award" for the best single post of the season (I'm sure she had the highest score this season for us).

The "Roostergirl award" for the most improved Easts forumer of the year.

The "Ozzie award" for a piece ofm expepmlorary leadership shown at some stage throughout the season.

The "PenelopePittstop" award for clubforumer of the year, dedicated to Penelope's work with getting as team together helping sort everything out and also soem refereeing.

And if you really want something to remember me by, an award for the most controversial post by an Easts player.

Also, a rookiee of the year award named after......I have no idea. Who has been the Easts rookiee of the year? Who is eligible for Rookie of the year?

It would be easier to ask - who isn't. Ozzie's our only old pro.

Lord are you saying i didn't do my job as skipper?? i don't apologise for working away at short notice - but thats just a fact of life...now mate there is a spot marked for you in our team and it will stay vacant..like retiring a number. We would like to see you play again next year with us..all you got to do is pick up the spot.

Not at all, but you weren't often busy. The PenelopePittstop" award is for going beyond the call of duty to help the team, which is needed when the captain isn't doing his job........I mean, um I'm not sure whta I mean. ;-)

Is this BP award named as recognition of my retirement? :D

Finally recognition. You'll never get a better third reserve as long as theres a team. ;-)

Certainly is in recognition of your efforts.

Morticia, I was sure it was you, but will go through and see what the results say that are available in the forum.
