Here's a press release from 4-4-2 Magazine

FourFourTwo, the world’s ultimate football magazine and the UK’s biggest selling sports magazine, is set to hit the back of the net with Aussie readers as Haymarket Media launches it’s first issue of the local edition on October 12th 2005.

The glossy magazine promises to deliver a line-up that includes interviews,
features, news and analysis to the growing number of Aussie soccer fans. All of it written with FourFourTwo’s trademark combination of authority and humour.

“FourFourTwo is a world-class magazine for lovers of the world game living in Australia,” said launch editor Paul Hansford. “The magazine will, of course, focus heavily on the A-League and Australian players, but we will also include content from around the world.”

It’s a huge year for football in this country with the launch of the A League to record crowds, the World Cup play-offs against the South Americans in
November, the FFA’s move to Asia and next June’s World Cup in Germany…and now you can add the launch of FourFourTwo.

“FourFourTwo will really offer a range and quality of content about football not previously available to the Australian football fan,” Hansford added.

The magazine will be working with clubs, football web sites, launch partners and state associations to make pre-launch discounted subscriptions available in the next two weeks. Meanwhile advertising launch partners include Nike, Rebel Sport, Hyundai and Nivea for Men.

FourFourTwo launches on October 12th and will be priced at $7.95.
